SK reminds me of one of my son-in-laws. He's organized, motivated, take-charge, and a little military, but always in a caring way...from what is on the videos. And he's looking for a job at an apartment complex for himself. He wants you out of that apartment...as do you.
You're soooo funny with your reactions to eating a good breakfast of oatmeal, working out, practicing for your comedy jobs, etc. I really enjoy the interacting...sooo real.
We had a yard crew supervisor walk around the yard with us this A.M. and agreed that many plants need to be removed. Jim's always done all the yard (trimming, pruning, mowing, planting, edging, etc.) here (9 years), but needs help now. Sooooo, just like inside of the house, the outside/yard needs to be simplified. We will remove some beds too. Often, "less is more" and I think that it may even look better. We will trim UP to increase shade. Last year we had 50+ triple digits and it's now about 100 daily. We seem to have short springs/fall, and long winter/summers.
Heard SK ask if you'd thanked your Mom. Remember she's your Mom, loves you, and will ALWAYS be your Mom. She may not agree with all you do, but she'll always be there. You don't agree with all her decisions either. You live in different worlds and are of different generations. I know how much you love her too.

Yes less is more... when SK and I walk around the hood... ( I had to stop wearing my red jacket... no need to get shot)
The houses with the less plants looked better... you could tell who had been at the house for years... everything over grown... old car... lots of plants...
The simple ones looked neater...

Faith now... I put in that I will be leaving this place by the 1st.
WE DON'T HAVE A PLACE... SK would rather live in a motel or hotel ...
we are house sitting July 19-Sep.5th. so we need a place for 18 days and he just don't want to spend those days here...
I was like WHY DON'T WE STAY UNTIL THE 19...
Between the helicopters, police, rent increse,we smell pot and hot dog poo outside so we can't have our window or door open...
Glad he is here... I would have never left...
