Does anyone have a ex-in-law-ish person who calls... no?... I do and we have the same conversation... over and over...
I just try to laugh about it... I mean life is so short... and I have other issues... (2 days PK free :(
Look at little Obama... how cute is he... I just love them... ahhhhhh 
when I was in elementary school... the only black (we were blacks then) in the class... slavery come up during History and Black History... ahhhh.... I was singled out... didn't want to be /look like the ones out in the field whipped... the light skin blacks got to be inside...
I wonder/scared if I did have my own kids... would color be an issue... or it wouldn't matter? I would love Oprah or Tyra or GloZell to do a show on people who treat people different because of skin color within their own communities... ( not proud of this fact ... just working through somethings ok)

GloZell, I have an ex-husband who was writing and calling after the divorce for seven years. Begging for money and giving me bad names and telling me that god will punish me. I had to change my phone number twice. So be happy that you have "only" the same conversations and that you can talk with him.:-)
GloZell, have you ever attended a performance of the Alvin Aley Dance Group? I saw them four times in New York in the City theatre and was thrilled.

How can one hate you, GloZell? You are so honest and you have to struggle. I would never go to a blog and even write comments. But your personality and your friendship with Leslie did force me to do it. :-)

Yes, my ex-husband was really mentally ill. Still married he threatend to kill me. But this is past. And I tell you GloZell, better be single as having a husband or boyfriend who is not respecting his girlfriend or wife. I was married for 22 years.
The Alvin Aley Dance Group consists of "African American" dancers who dance after spirituals, blues a.s.o. Next time they have a performance in L.A. you should not miss to attend it. They have been in Zurich even and gave a performance.
