Some things you must do John Melendez (I'm giving you one week to learn)
People don't know what front rows are... It's been uneven and stage right heavy...
Say In you own words or whatever " First two rows over here (Point to Gidget's side)... this middle section... and that section ( half dead section by Kevin)...floor rows only...
Front row section also means the front rows in each section...
VERY IMPORTANT!
Tell the audience not to talk during the show!... we can't understand you it just sounds like blah blah blah... don't ruin the experience for everyone else and we don't want to kick you out...
YOU MUST SAY THAT WITH OUT STRUMING A GUITAR!... PEOPLE CAN'T FOCUS THEY ARE EXCITED AND LOOKING AT EVERYTHING... JAY JUST LEFT THE STAGE... YOU STUTTER... THAT HAS TO BE SAID LIKE WE ARE IN KINDERGARTEN... CLEARLY...
FOR SOME PEOPLE ENGLISH IS THER 2ND LANGUAGE... YOU CAN'T BE DOING ANYTHING ELSE WHEN YOU SAY ...PLEASE DON'T YELL ANYTHING OUT...
BE CLEAR... THAT INFO IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF WHAT YOU DO. AS THE WARM UP GUY..
Your lavaliere mic is not made for singing... you will have no voice if you sing and play the guitar... you are so very talented...and you have to yell because the mic is under the sound of your voice.... you have to use a hand held mic ...
I hope you take this like I'm helping... If not... ( It's not my voice)
plus you are still sick... so take it easy...
what is working...
I know you will find your flow... It's a lot going on stage right now... (pick the girls, while singing and playing the guitar ... learn the song...getting the info.. all at the same time...) Don't have to do it all every time...
Thanks for cutting out the 12 millions cheers...
Remember... you are killing your voice if you continue to use that clothing mic to sing and yell the names of the band...
Your job is to get the information that helps the show! Help My Boo!... in a entertaining way... but the info is the most important!... (People have been yelling out...because they haven't heard that they can't... some people are nuts... but it's been way to many people. talking during the show since you started the warm up)
I gave you a few days... but now I got to get on you.... The Warm up next to security is the most important for the show....

I'm so glad that John is doing the warm up. He is a public part of the tonight show family and people get excited when they see him. I haven't seen him in action yet (my next day off I'll come hang with you) but you are so right about how he delivers all that important information.
The people in the audience are often clueless and this is the first show taping they have ever been to, they need to clearly hear the rules.
He is going to get tired of repeating himself by the end of the week I'm sure, but every audience is hearing the rules for the first time, he needs to keep it fresh, fun and CLEAR!
It would be fun for Ross(the former intern) to come out before the show and do a little something too - the audience gets pumped up seeing familiar faces.

I'm in the Strike Free Zone... the side walk all to myself...
hmmm... a Valentines Gift for a special employee... notto me not from me....I enjoyed sweet strawberries from the ladies of Laverne! I hope you enjoyed Ellen Show!RENO- WU LATINO NEEDLE BREAKER AND GLOZELL CAN I GET A WHOOP WHOOPReno looks tough... but he is a sweetheart...CINDY(RENO SISTER) LOVES TAKING PICTURES... Maurice had a NBC Page come into his Taco Bell... bonding through burritos...
Bruno Tonioli... (Dancing with the Stars... Dance Wars)... Bruno was so fascinating and funny... I wanted to know more about his life and up bringing... having the nuts to follow his dreams... but the show ran out of time..
It a sad day in Hollywood when a fat redneck gets more time than a dancing fairy with a European accent! Where are gay people suppose to rein supreme!
--------
I listen to all kinds of music..(my sister sings Opera) but this... hmmm... I was okay in the beginning but Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova sounded like constipated cats trying to relive themselves towards the end of that song... Marketa only played like the C Chord on a Steinway and Son Grand Piano!

Hey fightin'mad Mary!
Wow! great to hear from you... It's true... he slowed things down a bit... He is working it...
I would love for you to come to the show! Yeah! I saw Q driving Friday on Colfax... I was on my way up the mountain...
what made me think I was going to like it...
John can play the guitar and sing... Who knew?
I am on adverage with the audinec 5 hours before a page or anyone else talks to them... trust me I know about audiences...
and Mike the stage manager better know how to do a warm up or something... what if something happens unexspectantly... who is Johns back up...
Thanks for your comment... you are always... always on time...
If Ross came out... oh the people would freak out... they would be so happy...
That's a great idea...
Thanks FMM...

Haven't you learned by now, that this is NOT the dress rehearsal for your life- that this is IT?????
You have to go for it now - you are NOT the person you were before the strike - heck, the world is not the same as it was. You are wiser in so many ways, the clarity comes thru!!!
You have to give it your all. You are a celebrity in your own right. People know you - lots of people, lots of influential people.
You have to make your thing happen. Sitting on the sidelines (or walking the picketlines) did not do it.
You have it in you, I keep telling you. Know when to tone it down, and when to let it loose. Take a tip from Ross, he knows when to be vulnerable and when to give his all (even though it's an act!).
I look forward to good things from you.
I had a dream that I revealed myself to you - it was a nice dream. You knew who I am.
Peace to you, my friend
Did I read that right - you went up to Runyon on your own? Let's go together this Saturday!
Observer, keep bringing your advice this way! Everything thing you've suggested to GloZell is dead on! Maybe you should reveal who you are...
Dear Observer...
I don't know how to thank you... I had a dream last night also... maybe not a dream because I was awake... but just thinking...
I hear the tick tick tick... of time... I...am ... stuck... but I can't go back... I... don't know .. or I'm scared to take the next step....
I understand why people drink... smoke.. that's why they go to rehab...
well I'm going to the Mountain... again... I will come down with Commandments...
I won't drop them...
Thanks Observer!
Thanks...
Fightn' mad mary...
To the Mountain it is!
I'm scared...but I'm scared of everything... so I'm ready...

Oh my God ~ how I hate those constipated cats Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova.
I feel so bad that you were right there to listen to them live. I was part of the Carson Daly audience when they came on and they played 4 songs, then apperently their agents didn't like how the first song came out, so they PLAYED IT AGAIN!!!
I think I punched the stranger sitting next to me in the face because I was so upset.
luv the blog

Four songs... you poor thing...
I like music... but... they won a award... hot mess... I was going to let it go then... the screeched to notes I have never ever heard before... wow... you had hear a whole concert...

Thanks for being so strong, coming out and telling your story...
thanks for sharing that heart breaking story...
I will keep your ears in my prayers...
